Dodgers Outfielder To Miss Time
Earlier this week, the Los Angeles Dodgers called up Kevin Pillar from Triple-A. It was exciting news for the veteran, but things have quickly gone south. This is because the outfielder now has a fractured left shoulder and has been placed on the 10-day injured list.
However, given the severity of his injury, he is expected to be out longer than those 10 days. Manager Dave Roberts noted that the veteran could also end up getting surgery on it.
In four games this season with the Dodgers, Pillar had one hit in 12 at-bats. Here's to hoping he can return before the season is completed.
