Dallas Keuchel Finds New Home
The Arizona Diamondbacks have signed Dallas Keuchel to a minor league contract.
Keuchel was of course let go by the Chicago White Sox after a disastrous start to the 2022 season. In eight appearances on the year, he has a 2-5 record to go along with a 7.88 ERA. It's been a campaign to forget for the veteran starter, but he will now be hoping to redeem himself as a member of the Diamondbacks. Yet, he will first need to impress in Triple-A to earn himself a call-up.
At this point of the season, the D-Backs have a 26-29 record and are aiming to be a Wild Card team in the NL. Thus, it makes sense for them take a chance on a former All-Star and Cy Young Award winner in Keuchel. Let's see if he can find his old form in Arizona from here.
