Cubs OF Clint Frazier Changes His Name
Maybe this will change his luck. Chicago Cubs outfielder Clint Frazier has decided he is no longer Clint Frazier. Henceforth, he wants to be known as Jackson Frazier.
Jackson is his middle name, and he says family and even past teammates call him that. But leave it to Jon Heyman of the New York Post to be the first one to have a little fun with the name change.
His new name Jackson Frazier would have been good when he was in NY — combines two iconic NY athletes! Since he’s trying to get back to Chicago now I’d suggest he go by Jordan Butkus or perhaps Ernie Pippen. https://t.co/bUEl5Qj2aw

Heyman joked that "Jackson Frazier" — combining two iconic New York athletes of the past, Reggie Jackson and Walt Frazier — would have been great when he was with the New York Yankees. Now in Chicago, Heyman suggests he would have been better off with "Jordan Butkus" or "Ernie Pippen."
Any other good combinations we can go with? Payton Sandberg, perhaps?
By any name, Frazier has struggled mightily thus far in his major league career, battling with constant injuries and poor performance. This season he's hitting .216 with the Cubs, with no homers and one RBI in 19 games.
Perhaps Jackson Frazier will be a whole new ballgame.
