Cubs Call Up Pitcher

The Chicago Cubs have called up Adrian Sampson to their major league squad.

Interestingly, Sampson was recently designated for assignment by the Cubs and claimed by the Mariners. However, after suffering the same fate with Seattle, he inked a minor league deal back with Chicago. Now, the major league squad is giving Sampson another shot. Let's see how he responds to the opportunity. 

In 52 career games between the Mariners, Rangers, and Cubs, Sampson has a 7-14 record, 5.13 ERA, and 146 strikeouts.
