Cardinals Outfielder Placed On Injured List

The St. Louis Cardinals will be without Corey Dickerson for at least the next little while, as the veteran outfielder has been placed on the 10-day injured list.

Dickerson joined the Cardinals during the offseason to provide them with more outfield depth. So far, the former All-Star hasn't been taking the world by storm, as he has two home runs to go along with a low .194 batting average. Once he gets healthy, he will be aiming to turn things back around.

Alas, here's to hoping that Dickerson can return as soon as this stint on the 10-day injured list passes. Let's see what happens on that front.
