Cardinals Catcher Placed On Injured List

The St. Louis Cardinals have placed Yadier Molina on the injured list. He is expected to be out for a few weeks due to knee soreness.

Molina is in his 19th and final MLB season with the Cardinals. So far, the 10-time All-Star and nine-time gold glove winner has had a bit of a slow start, as he has two home runs, 23 RBIs, and a .213 batting average. Yet, he is still the heart and soul of the Cardinals, so his absence will be noticed.

The Cardinals will be hoping that Molina's recovery can be a speedy one. We will have to wait and see what happens on that front.
