Brewers Claim Pitcher Off Waivers

The Milwaukee Brewers have claimed Chi Chi Gonzalez off waivers from the Minnesota Twins. 

After signing a minor league contract with the Twins, Gonzalez was recently called up. In two starts for Minnesota, he allowed six earned runs in just seven innings pitched. The Twins would then designate him for assignment, but he will now have the chance to try to bounce back with the Brewers organization. 

Gonzalez has made 63 career appearances over six seasons between the Rangers, Rockies, and Twins. In them, he sported a 9-23 record and 5.69 ERA. Let's see if he can improve these career stats as a Brewer from here.
