Braves Star Placed On 60-Day Injured List

After fracturing his foot on Monday, Atlanta Braves star Ozzie Albies has now been placed on the 60-day injured list.

With this news, Albies will not be able to return until at least August. This is not good news for the Braves, as they are currently trying to catch the New York Mets in the NL East standings. Being without one of their best players in Albies does not make that task any easier.

In 62 games this season, Albies has eight home runs, 33 RBIs, and a .244 batting average. Now, the two-time All-Star's season will have to be put on pause for multiple months.
