Braves Pitcher Designated For Assignment
The Atlanta Braves have designated Jacob Webb for assignment. This decision comes in response to Collin McHugh being reinstated from the injured list.
Webb was recently reacquired by the Braves from the Pirates. However, his second stint as a Brave appears to already be ending. Unfortunately, he was not able to make an appearance for the major league squad since rejoining them.
Webb has 78 career games on his resume - all with the Braves. During them, he has a 9-4 record and 2.47 ERA. It will be intriguing to see where he ends up from here. Atlanta has until the end of the week to either trade or place him on waivers. Let's see what happens on that front.
