Braves Designate Infielder For Assignment

One week ago, the Atlanta Braves claimed Joe Dunand off waivers from the Miami Marlins. Yet, unfortunately for him, he has once again been designated for assignment.

Dunand's time on the Braves' 40-man roster did not result in him appearing in a single major league game for the team. He did play three games with the Marlins this campaign, however, where he had a home run and a .300 batting average.

The Braves now have a week to either trade Dunand or place him on waivers. Teams in need of some infield depth could take a look at him. Alas, time will tell what happens on that front.
