Athletics Release Pitcher

The Oakland Athletics have released Gabe Klobosits. With this, the 27-year-old is now a free agent. 

Klobosits did not appear in a major league game for the Athletics, so this decision does not impact their major league roster. However, they are letting go of a part of their depth.

It will be interesting to see if Klobosits will land himself a contract elsewhere from here. In 11 career games with the Washington Nationals, he has a 0-1 record, 5.56 ERA, and five strikeouts.
