Astros Send Outfielder To Triple-A
The Houston Astros have made another roster move, as Chas McCormick has been sent down to Triple-A.
McCormick is in his second season with the Astros, and it's fair to say that he has struggled during it. In 49 games, he has six home runs 16 RBIs, and an unimpressive .219 batting average. Due to this, perhaps this demotion could have been predicted.
This isn't the end of the world for McCormick, though, as a potential call-up later in the year is certainly possible. This is especially true if he can put together a strong campaign in Triple-A from here.
