Astros Claim Outfielder Off Waivers

The Houston Astros have claimed Dillon Thomas off waivers from the Los Angeles Angels. 

Thomas is an outfielder who is trying to cement himself as a major leaguer. Over the last two seasons, he appeared in five MLB games between the Seattle Mariners and Los Angeles Angels. With them, he had one hit in 11 at-bats. He will now be hoping to get some chances with the Astros to help build on his career stats. 

Thomas will begin his time with the Astros organization down in Sugar Land. Yet, if he impresses from here, don't be surprised to see a call-up occur.
