Angels Superstar Leaves Game Early
During Tuesday's game against the Boston Red Sox, the Los Angeles Angels lost their 13th straight game. Yet, things got even worse when Mike Trout left the contest early with a groin injury.
Following the game, Trout stated that the injury is "nothing crazy," so hopefully the superstar doesn't have to miss any time - especially with how badly the Angels are playing lately. He also isn't set to have an MRI, so that is also encouraging news.
We will need to wait and see if Trout will be moved to the 10-day injured list as a precautionary move. In 52 games this season, he has 14 home runs, 30 RBIs, and a .284 batting average.
