Angels Outfielder Elects Free Agency
Juan Lagares' time with the Angels is over, as the 33-year-old has elected to become a free agent.
Lagares signed a minor league contract with the Angels earlier this season. He did end up getting into some MLB action, however, as he appeared in 20 games for the Halos. During them, he had a .183 batting average and did not record a home run or RBI.
Lagares is a 10-year veteran and has 850 career games on his resume, so perhaps another team will give him a shot from here.
