White Sox Sign Pitcher
The Chicago White Sox have signed Rafael Dolis to a minor league contract.
Dolis is expected to join Triple-A Charlotte from here. However, when remembering that Dolis appeared in 63 games over the last two seasons with the Toronto Blue Jays, there's reason to believe that he could get a call-up before the year is out. This is especially true if he can replicate his form from 2020. In 24 games, he had a very impressive 1.50 ERA.
At a minimum, the White Sox have at least added a bit more depth to their pitching. However, if Dolis can prove to the club that he can still be an effective major league pitcher, this could be a real win for the ChiSox.
