White Sox Pitcher Placed On Release Waivers
Earlier this week, the Chicago White Sox designated Dallas Keuchel for assignment. Now, the club has placed the veteran on release waivers.
With this development, Keuchel's inevitably going to hit the market as a free agent. Although the 34-year-old has struggled immensely this season, his past success could definitely lead other teams to pursue him. Keep in mind, only two years ago, he had a 6-2 record to go along with a 1.99 ERA in 11 starts.
It will be intriguing to see if Keuchel can bounce back on a new team. In 262 career games between the Astros, Braves, and White Sox, he has a 101-87 record and 3.86 ERA. With that, he is a two-time All-Star and one-time Cy Young Award winner.
