White Sox Outfielder Heading To Injured List
After being hit by a pitch last week, Chicago White Sox outfielder Andrew Vaughn has not returned to action. Now, the team has placed him on the 10-day injured list.
Because Vaughn has already missed time, the beginning of his IL stint is considered to be May 2nd. As a result of this, he is eligible to return on the 12th - if he is healthy enough to, of course. The White Sox will certainly be hoping that this is the case.
Vaughn's absence will certainly be noticeable. The 24-year-old is having a very strong start to his sophomore season, as he has four home runs, 12 RBIs, and a .283 batting average in 16 games. Yet, with this development, his season now has to be put on pause.
