Update On Mitch Haniger

The Seattle Mariners currently have a 14-18 record and are aiming to improve their chances of making the playoffs for the first time since 2001. Mitch Haniger's absence isn't helping their odds of bouncing back, and this most recent development only makes things worse. While speaking with Ryan Divish, Haniger noted that he is expected to be out for the next 10-to-12 weeks.

This certainly isn't good news for the Mariners. This is especially true if the 2018 All-Star has to miss even more time after this. Regardless of what happens on that front, this is a long-term injury for Haniger.

In nine games this season, Haniger has three home runs, seven RBIs, and a .200 batting average.
