Twins Pitcher Placed On Injured List

Minnesota Twins pitcher Josh Winder has been placed on the 15-day injured list due to a shoulder injury.

Winder is currently in his rookie season with the Twins, and he has left a pretty solid first impression thus far. In seven games, he sports a 2-2 record and 3.68 ERA. With that, he also has started three games, so he is starting to make a push for a permanent spot in their rotation.

The Twins have been dealing with injury trouble all season, and now Winder is the newest name to hit the IL. Here's to hoping that the 25-year-old is able to return as soon as this 15-day stint on the IL is over. Alas, time will tell on that front.
