Tigers Pitcher To Miss Time

It's been a bad 2022 season for the Detroit Tigers, and things are only getting worse. One of their top free-agent signings this offseason, Eduardo Rodriguez, has now been placed on the 15-day injured list due to a rib sprain. 

A trip to the injured list was expected, as E-Rod left his last start early with this injury. Now, the struggling Tigers will be without Rodriguez for at least these next few weeks. However, given the nature of his injury, the veteran could end up missing more time after this stint on the IL ends. 

In eight starts this season, Rodriguez sports a 1-3 record and 4.38 ERA. Overall, his tenure with the Tigers has been filled with mixed results. However, the Tigers would much rather have him in the rotation than not. Here's to hoping he can return immediately after this IL stint ends.
