Royals To Be Without Pitcher

The Kansas City Royals have placed Jake Brentz on the 10-day injured list.

Brentz is currently dealing with a left flexor strain. After having tests done, it has been determined that he doesn't have any structural damage to it. That is certainly good news for him, but he will still need to rest it to prevent injuring it more.

Once Brentz returns to the mound, he will be aiming to rebound from a horrible start to the season. In eight appearances, he has allowed a massive 15 runs in just 5.1 innings pitched. With this, he has a 0-3 record and a whopping 23.63 ERA. Alas, we will have to wait and see if he can turn things around once he's healthy again.
