Royals Call Up Outfielder

The Kansas City Royals have called up Dairon Blanco from Triple-A.

This is major news for Blanco, as he now will have the opportunity to make his major league debut. In 31 games this season with Triple-A Omaha, he has five home runs, 15 RBIs, and a .263 batting average. Overall, he's been off to a solid start in 2022, and it will be intriguing to see how much of this translates over to the majors from here. 

With the Royals sporting a 14-22 record, they are in a position where they can take chances on players like Blanco. It will be interesting to see how the 29-year-old performs in the sport's most competitive league from here.
