Royals Call Up 2 Pitchers
The Kansas City Royals have added Foster Griffin and Matt Peacock to their major league roster.
Griffin last pitched in the majors during the 2020 season. In his lone MLB appearance, he pitched a perfect 1.2 innings and had a strikeout. Now, two years later, he is set to join the Royals' bullpen and will be aiming to cement himself a permanent spot in it.
Peacock, on the other hand, is set to make his Royals debut. Kansas City acquired him from the Arizona Diamondbacks earlier this season. In two games with the D-Backs this year, he allowed two earned runs in 2.2 innings pitched. In 37 career games, he has a 5-7 record and 4.96 ERA.
Alas, let's see if these two can provide some help for the Royals from here.
