Reds Pitcher Placed On Injured List

The Cincinnati Reds will be without Lucas Sims, as the reliever has been placed on the 15-day injured list due to back spasms.

It's been an atrocious season for the Reds, and adding another injury to the mix isn't going to do them any favors. Yet, Sims hasn't had the greatest of starts, either, as he has a 1-0 record and 9.45 ERA in six appearances. He also has a save on the year, too. 

It will be intriguing to see how much time Sims will have to miss from here. The Reds will be hoping that he can return to action as soon as his stint on the IL is over, but when it comes to back spasms, they can be unpredictable.
