Red Sox Promote Pitcher

The struggling Boston Red Sox are continuing to make changes to their roster, as they now have called up John Schreiber.

Schreiber has gotten into three MLB games this campaign and hasn't surrendered a run. Now, with this current call-up, he will be aiming to continue to stay effective. Perhaps it will lead to him earning a permanent spot in their bullpen. 

Schreiber has made appearances in the majors over each of the last four seasons. In 32 games between the Tigers and Red Sox, he sports a 2-1 record and 5.35 ERA.
