Red Sox Pitcher Sent Down To Triple-A
The Boston Red Sox have sent Kutter Crawford back down to Triple-A. This move comes in response to Rich Hill returning from the injured list.
Crawford has pitched in a career-high eight games this season. However, it's fair to say that he struggled during them, as he surrendered 10 earned runs in just 10.2 innings pitched. Now, he will be aiming to impress back in Triple-A to land an eventual call-up back to Boston.
It will be intriguing to see what happens from here with Crawford. He's a pitcher who is very much still trying to cement himself as a major leaguer. In nine career games with Boston, he has a 1-2 record and 10.66 ERA.
