Red Sox Outfielder Sent Down To Triple-A
The Boston Red Sox have sent Jaylin Davis down to Triple-A Worcester.
Davis was recently designated for assignment by the Red Sox but ended up clearing waivers. Due to the latter occurring, the Red Sox were able to freely send Davis back down to the minors. Now, he will be aiming to impress with Worcester in hopes of landing a call-up to the major league squad later on.
The Red Sox claimed Davis off waivers from the Giants earlier this season. In two games with the Red Sox, he did leave an impact, as he had two hits in four at-bats. Yet, it wasn't enough for him to stick around, and he will now be looking to put up a strong campaign back in Triple-A from here.
