Rays Outfielder To Miss Time

The Tampa Bay Rays have been dealt some bad news, as Manuel Margot has been placed on the 10-day injured list.

Margot has been off to a wonderful start for the Rays this season, and the truth is in his stats. Known primarily for his excellent fielding ability, Margot has been extremely effective at the plate this year, too. In 27 games thus far, he has three home runs, 10 RBIs, and a .348 batting average. However, his hot start now has to be put on pause.

Nevertheless, here's to hoping that Margot's injury isn't too serious and that he will be able to return to the field as soon as this stint on the 10-day IL is over.
