Rays Call Up Pitcher

The Tampa Bay Rays are giving Dusten Knight another shot, as they have called him up to their major league roster. 

Knight was designated for assignment last month after just one appearance with the Rays. During it, he allowed one earned run in 2.1 innings pitched. Overall, he didn't struggle too much, but he still found himself off their roster rather quickly. Now, this time around, he will be aiming to stick around. 

Knight made his major league debut last season with the Baltimore Orioles. The 31-year-old is still trying to prove that he is capable of being a major league pitcher. Let's see if he can do just that during this call-up. In eight career games between the Orioles and Rays, he has a 0-0 record and 8.18 ERA.
