Pirates Designate Pitcher For Assignment
The Pittsburgh Pirates are continuing to make changes, as they have designated Beau Sulser for assignment.
Sulser made his MLB debut with the Pirates this season and had some decent moments. In four games with the club, he sports a 0-0 record and 3.72 ERA. Although he hasn't struggled too significantly, the Pirates are still deciding to remove the 28-year-old from their 40-man roster.
This news comes after the Pirates claimed Tyler Beede off waivers, so at the end of the day, that move made Sulser expendable. Now, the rookie will either be placed on waivers or traded to another club. We will have to wait and see what happens on that front.
