Orioles Promote Top Prospect

The Baltimore Orioles have promoted Adley Rutschman from Triple-A.

This is major news, as Rutschman is the team's top prospect and is expected to have a bright future ahead of him. In 123 games last season between Double-A and Triple-A, he had 23 home runs, 75 RBIs, and a .285 batting average. With numbers like these, it's clear that he is capable of hitting well for both contact and power. 

The Orioles currently sport a 10-16 record and have extremely low expectations in 2022. Thus, it could be the perfect time for Rutschman to get some major league experience. Perhaps the catcher will even show that he's ready for full-time work, but alas, time will tell on that front.
