Orioles Infielder To Miss Time

The Baltimore Orioles have placed Ryan Mountcastle on the 10-day injured list due to a wrist injury.

The Orioles have dealt with the injury bug all season, and now Mountcastle is the latest player to suffer from this fate. He certainly is a player who the team will miss, as he is one of their top hitters. During the 2021 season, he hit 33 home runs and added 89 RBIs in 144 games. His power numbers are a bit down this year, as he has four home runs in 28 games. 

The Orioles will be hoping that Mountcastle can return to the lineup once this stint on the IL is completed. Although Baltimore will not be playing playoff baseball this fall, Mountcastle is a young player who still has plenty of time to improve. Let's see when he officially returns.
