Nationals Sign Pitcher
The Washington Nationals have added to their pitching depth, as they have signed Franklyn Kilome to a minor league contract.
Kilome will be hoping to land his first call-up to the majors since the 2020 season. In four appearances for the New York Mets, he allowed 14 earned runs in just 11.1 innings pitched. Naturally, he will be aiming to pitch better this time around - if he gets promoted, of course.
At worst, the Nationals have signed another pitcher to help with their Triple-A squad. However, with how often injuries occur in baseball, it wouldn't be shocking to see him get some major league time in 2022.
