Nationals Pitcher Transferred To 60-Day Injured List
The Washington Nationals have transferred Anibal Sanchez from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day injured list.
After signing a minor league contract to return to the Nationals during the offseason, Sanchez made their Opening Day roster. Yet, he, unfortunately, has not been able to make his debut in this campaign due to his neck injury. With this latest development, we will now have to wait until at least June to see him on the mound again. This is because his time on the IL started on April 8th.
Sanchez has not pitched in the majors since 2020, so baseball fans should be rooting for his return. Here's to hoping that he can immediately get back on the mound once this 60-day IL stint is over.
