MLB Rumors: Tigers Shopping Pitcher
Michael Fulmer is in the final season of his contract and will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason. With the Detroit Tigers' playoff hopes continuing to decrease each day, that likely means that the 29-year-old will be moved before the trade deadline passes.
After beginning his career as a starter, Fulmer transitioned into a reliever during last season. So far, he does well in the bullpen for the Tigers. Thus, teams looking for a reliever should definitely be calling the Tigers about Fulmer.
In 18 games this season, Fulmer has a 2-2 record and 3.06 ERA. His resume is also pretty solid, as he is a one-time All-Star and was the AL Rookie of the Year in 2016. Alas, let's see what happens with the 29-year-old from here.
