MLB Rumors: Reds To Trade Infielder

The Reds currently have a league-worst 7-24 record and several trades are expected to occur because of this. One player who has now entered the rumor mill is Brandon Drury.

Drury has been one of the Reds' lone feel-good stories in 2022. In late March, the team signed the infielder to a minor-league contract. Since earning himself a spot on their major league roster, he has been one of the team's best hitters. In 26 games, he has six home runs, 18 RBIs, and a .267 batting average. If he can keep this play up from here, he should have a market this summer.

Drury's versatility also would help his chances of finding a new home, too. Playoff teams are always looking for players who can play multiple positions like him, so we will have to wait and see what happens from here with the 29-year-old.
