MLB Rumors: Red Sox To Trade DH

After an embarrassing 11-20 start this season, the Boston Red Sox are expected to be sellers at the trade deadline. If things don't drastically change, one pending UFA who will most certainly be on the move is J.D. Martinez.

Martinez can only block trades to three teams, so the Red Sox have a ton of wiggle room to move the star DH. Once we get closer to the deadline, there should be plenty of contenders who will target the DH. Keep in mind, he also can be utilized in the outfield, if needed.

In 23 games this season, Martinez has three home runs, 14 RBIs, and a .289 batting average.
