Mets Pitcher To Miss Time

The New York Mets have placed Trevor May on the 10-day injured list due to triceps inflammation.

May's 2022 campaign has been off to a rather rough start, so perhaps it isn't too surprising to hear that he is dealing with an injury. In eight games thus far, he has an 8.64 ERA, which is far too high for his standards.

Although May has struggled this campaign, the Mets will be hoping that he can return immediately after this stint on the IL. When the reliever is on his game, he provides strong reliability, so let's see if he can bounce back as the year progresses.
