Mets and Reds Complete Trade
The New York Mets have acquired JT Riddle from the Cincinnati Reds.
Riddle has played in two games this season with the Reds, where he has one hit in four at-bats. He has primarily been with Triple-A Louisville but has struggled. In 27 games, he has three home runs, five RBIs, and a low .208 batting. With the Mets organization, he will be aiming to rebound.
If the Mets decide to bring Riddle up to their major league squad, he will provide them with another utilityman. This is because he can play shortstop, third base, and center field if needed. In 252 career games between the Marlins, Pirates, Twins, and Reds, he has 19 home runs, 80 RBIs, and a .223 batting average.
