Marlins Infielder Placed On Injured List

The Miami Marlins will be without Jon Berti, as the utilityman has been placed on the 10-day injured list. 

This is rough news for the Marlins. Berti has been off to an excellent start in 2022, so they certainly will miss having him in the lineup. In 17 games, he has two home runs, four RBIs, and a .300 batting average. He is on pace to have a career year, but sadly, it now will have to be put on pause. 

Berti's versatility also helps add to his value as a player, too. He's capable of playing third base, second base, and the outfield, so having him in the lineup is always better than not.
