Giants Sign Pitcher
The San Francisco Giants signed Scott Alexander to a minor league contract.
Alexander just finished a four-year stint with the Los Angeles Dodgers and had a solid 2021 campaign. In 18 games with the team, he had a 0-2 record and 2.93 ERA. However, even with decent numbers, he wasn't able to maintain his spot in LA and now will be aiming to get a call-up to San Francisco from here.
Alexander also comes with a decent amount of experience. This could help his chances of getting a promotion, too. In 211 career games between the Royals and Dodgers, he has a 12-9 record and 3.16 ERA. Let's see if he has the chance to improve on these totals from here.
