Giants Pitcher Transferred To 60-Day Injured List

Anthony DeSclafani has been moved from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day injured list.

DeSclafani has been sidelined since late April due to right ankle inflammation. With this most recent development, he now will not be able to return to action until at least late June.

The 2022 season hasn't been off to the best start for DeSclafani. In three games thus far, he has a 0-1 record and 6.08 ERA. Yet, it's certainly fair to say that he is missed in San Francisco's rotation. The Giants know what he's capable of, as he had a 13-7 record and 3.17 ERA just last season.

Nevertheless, here's to hoping that DeSclafani will be able to return to the mound immediately after this stint on the 60-day IL is over.
