Giants Pitcher Set To Return

Alex Cobb is set to return for the San Francisco Giants, as the team has activated him from the 10-day injured list. 

Cobb will immediately be getting back into action, too. The veteran pitcher will be starting Sunday's contest against the Washington Nationals. 

Cobb will be looking to put together a strong performance for the Giants in his return. Thus far during the 2022 campaign, he has started in two games, where he sports a 1-0 record and 4.82 ERA. The newcomer will be hoping to lower that ERA a bit moving forward, and Sunday's game could be a great way to start with that. 

Nevertheless, it is good that the Giants are getting one of their veteran pitchers back. They are 14-7 this season, so they of course want to build on their division lead.
