Dodgers Remove Pitcher From 40-Man Roster
Earlier this week, Carson Fulmer was called up by the Los Angeles Dodgers. Now, his time with the major league squad is already over, as the team has designated him for assignment.
This has to be a deflating feeling for Fulmer, as he didn't even pitch a single inning with the team. Now, the veteran will be heading to waivers. It will be intriguing to see if another team decides to claim him from here. If not, Fulmer also can reject a return to the minors and instead elect to become a free agent.
In 74 career games between the Chicago White Sox, Detroit Tigers, Baltimore Orioles, and Cincinnati Reds, Fulmer has a 6-9 record and 6.41 ERA.
