Dodgers Promote Pitcher

The Los Angeles Dodgers have called up Michael Grove to the major league squad. With that, he is expected to make his debut for the team on Sunday.

Grove was selected in the second round by the Dodgers during the 2018 MLB Draft, so there will naturally be eyes on him. With Double-A Tulsa this season, Grove has put together a good start to the year. In five starts, he may have a 0-1 record, but he also sports a solid 2.76 ERA to go along with 22 strikeouts.

Grove's versatility allows him to work as both a starter and reliever, so it will be intriguing to see how the Dodgers decide to utilize him from here. Nevertheless, congrats to Michael for landing this call-up to the show!
