Dallas Keuchel Finished With White Sox
The Chicago White Sox have designated Dallas Keuchel for assignment.
This season has been a disaster for Keuchel, so it isn't surprising that the White Sox have made this decision. In eight starts on the year, he has a 2-5 record and a very high 7.88 ERA. This also is coming after a season where he had a 5.28 ERA, so the veteran just hasn't been able to find his former All-Star form.
Yet, when looking at Keuchel's resume, some teams could be willing to give him a shot. No club will claim him and his high salary off waivers, but once officially released by Chicago, don't be surprised to see another team give him a chance. In 262 career games between the Astros, Braves, and White Sox, he has a 101-87 record and 3.86 ERA. With that, he is a former Cy Young Award winner, two-time All-Star, and World Series champ.
