Cardinals Release Pitcher

The St. Louis Cardinals have released T.J. Zeuch. With this, the 26-year-old pitcher is officially a free agent. 

Zeuch has spent the entirety of this season with Triple-A Memphis, and it's fair to say that he has struggled immensely In five starts, he sports a 0-4 record and 11.64 ERA. Yet, his time with the Cardinals organization is officially over, so he will be looking to bounce back elsewhere. 

Zeuch's struggles made him be designated for assignment by the Cardinals a few days ago. He was placed on waivers and even after clearing them St. Louis is now electing to move on from the 2016 first-round pick. In 13 career games with the Toronto Blue Jays, he has a 2-4 record and 4.59 ERA.
