Brewers Outright Pitcher Back To Triple-A
After clearing waivers, Alec Bettinger has now been sent down to Triple-A Nashville.
Bettinger was designated for assignment last week but now will be remaining with the organization from here. He has yet to appear in a game for Milwaukee this season and won't be able to unless he's placed back on the 40-man roster later in the season. In his two appearances with Nashville, he has a 7.20 ERA. Now, he will be staying put instead of being dealt elsewhere.
Bettinger will be aiming to impress with Nashville from here in hopes of landing an eventual call-up. In four career games with the Brewers, he has a 0-1 record, 13.50 ERA, and five strikeouts.
