Brewers Outfielder To Miss Time
The Milwaukee Brewers will be without Andrew McCutchen for a bit, as the veteran outfielder has tested positive for COVID-19.
McCutchen signed with the Brew Crew before the start of the 2022 season. So far with his new team, he has had mixed results, as he has two home runs, 14 RBIs, and a .240 batting average. Once he returns to action, he will be hoping to hit a bit better for contact moving forward.
Although McCutchen isn't a star anymore, the Brewers obviously would rather have him in the lineup than not. At this point of the season, they have a 19-9 record and are first in the NL Central. Yet, they need their starting players to be healthy to maintain this placement in the standings, so they will be hoping McCutchen's symptoms from the virus subside quickly.
